Spent the day packing and thinking about what a great 9 months I've had in New Orleans. There has been parades and costumes, parties and new friends, volunteering and work, creating a home and becoming part of a neighborhood, getting involved in the community and it's politics......lots of politics and a few dates with really nice guys who didn't have a chance. It's been a full and meaningful 9 months. And now I'm off to Barcelona for the summer, damn it's good to be !! Nancy called today and confirmed she and Marta are joining me in Spain for a few days in July and then invited me to join them for a few days in PARIS!! Surprises await you around every corner. Life is so cool.................
