I finally have internet access!!

I awoke this morning to a knocking on the door and I jumped out of bed, tossed on my robe and opened the door to find Lucas and another man standing outside in the hallway.  It seems Lucas never comes over without bringing along an extra guy…….I like it.  They had come without warning to hook up my internet and the other guy was the telephone technician.  So there I was half awake, no coffee, in my full morning glory status but there was absolutely no way I was turning these guys away so in they came. 

It’s amazing how inconvenient it was to be without the internet.  I realize how ‘connected’ I’ve become bouncing on and off the internet all day long when I’m at home in New Orleans.  It was killing me to have to save up everything I wanted to do for my once a day trip to Starbucks and then always remembering at least one thing I had forgotten to do while I was there just after I’d walked out the door.  But now that is all behind me, I have my very own internet.  I’ve been in and out of the internet at least a dozen times today and it feels good!! Haha

Now I want to talk to you about the Fifty Shades books; if you have not read these books or are not reading one of these books right now then you must buy the first one, Fifty Shades of Gray immediately!!  And by the way if you haven’t heard of these books then where in the heck have you been for the last few months?  I must admit when I first heard of the trilogy I was not very interested.  I’d given up reading smut a long time ago and was pretty sure I already knew everything I needed to know about relationships (and then some!!).  The subject matter was a dominant/submissive relationship and that has never been anything that’s even vaguely appealed to me……unless I could be the dominant of course…..just kidding!  Anyway there was enough buzz that I finally gave in and bought the first book.  I managed to read that book in something under a week and just finished the second book today.  I will be starting the third one tonight trust me.

These books are HOT, HOT, HOT but they also have an amazing amount of information in them about the depths of relationships, the required negotiations and the difference between sex and making love.  Every woman I know will want to read these books and every man I know should want to!

Since I wasn’t going to be able to put this book down today until I finished it I at least also did the laundry…………
